How can I apply?.

 

You can apply by post or e-mail to the address named under "Contact" or directly, using the on-line form. Please do not apply informally; in addition to your letter, we always need the following documents:

· CV

· Certificates and references

· Photograph

 

You can certainly add other documents that you may consider important ? we are especially interested in work samples.

 

Can I also make a spontaneous application?

 

In principle, we are only looking for applicants for the vacant positions advertised on our web site. If, however, you are of the opinion that you are especially suited to NIDAG GmbH or can help us on our way forward, we should, of course, be pleased to receive your documents.

 

What is important in my application?

 

There are no hard and fast rules. Do not forget, however, that it is through your application documents that we first get to know you. Apart from the information that they contain, we know nothing about you; so make yourself interesting

 

What happens to my application documents?

 

Once we have received your documents, it can then take up to 14 days until you receive an invitation to come for an interview. Please, therefore, allow this delay for internal processing to pass before you make enquiries by e-mail or by telephone. In the event of a refusal, you will, of course, have your documents returned

 

What is the application procedure?

 

After examining your complete application documents, we invite you to an interview with representatives from project teams, senior management and personnel department. If we can convince ourselves that you would fit into the NIDAG GmbH team, the details of your joining the company are discussed in a second

What happens when I join NIDAG GmbH?

 

We offer the immediate start as a matter of policy. Our introductory programme lasts one week and we work out a medium-term qualification plan that is individually adapted to you and your new duties. Right from the start, you take over tasks for which you are responsible within a project team.

 

Do you also offer internships?

 

Yes, our Conception, Design, Systems and Administration departments offer internships both before and during your studies. You can get an idea of the duties that might be involved by studying our job descriptions. You should have at least six weeks available. All interns are full members of a project team. This means that not only an appropriate amount of relevant knowledge but also readiness for hard work are preconditions for internships with NIDAG GmbH. All internships are paid. On completing your internship, you may, if you perform well, be offered the chance to work for us part time.

Can I also come to NIDAG GmbH to write my diploma dissertation?

 

Yes, three of our departments, Concept, Design and Systems can offer a number of topics for dissertations. You can write your dissertation as an external project observer or actually join us in working on the project.

Are you also looking for freelance collaborators?

In areas that are not a part of our core business (translations, readership, 3D animation, Illustration etc), we also use the services of freelancers. Please send us your convincing profile and include work samples and/or references and example prices.
Our general policy is that tasks falling within our core business areas should be covered by permanent employees. If, however, you believe that you can offer NIDAG GmbH above average competence as a freelancer, please send us your profile.
